Lilura wasn’t exactly the play type, since she enjoyed movies a bit more, but seeing a play was a fresh change of pace, though she did admit once or twice she got a little bored. Marius seemed to be enjoying himself though, and when the play was finished, the both of them walked out of the theater relatively happy.
They talked a bit about the play as they walked, making side comments and having playful banter, when a figure not far off caught up to them and came out of the shadows.
(sorry for the lateness -_-)
Nasya listened politely, nodding gently when Lilura had finished her story. "Don't worry about finding someone. You're a vampire now, you have all the time in the world." She smiled. "You can think about all of the things you can do that you couldn't have when you were a human. You know, unlimited money, you can travel the world... see new things. And the point of being in a coven is so that you can always have people around you like a family." She smiled. "Although others in the coven may not share the same beliefs as you do, they're still going to look out for you in the end. That's the same as a family too." Nasya winked lightly. "Families don't always agree on everything."
(this is seriously a true story that happened to me as a kid XD)
Lilura laughed, covering her mouth trying not to snort, since she had a tendency to do that. "i wonder if i ever will find anyone to love one day. when i was still a human and i was about 12, i had a MASSIVE crush on a boy named Xavier, and he was the sweetest boy i knew. smart, understanding, and he always loved a good joke. so after years of being his friend, i felt this love for him, you know? like, more than a best friend....and i really wanted to tell him that.so one day, while we passed notes during our studying, i passed him a note that said 'Do you like me?'. he wrote 'yes i do....but i have a girlfriend.' it broke my heart, and since then, ive been single" she giggled "but nowadays, i would really love to find someone. so i dont have to be lonely, when my friends aren't around..."
Nasya smiled, shaking her head gently. "I've known him for hundreds of years and he hasn't been interested in anything but quick flings until his wolf came along." She giggled softly. "There are plenty of other fish in the sea, though, dear one." She breathed, brushing a strand of Lilura's hair through her fingers gently. "Don't let it get you down. Marius really is grumpy, too." She chuckled. "So the fact that he's nice to you is a sign that he doesn't mind being around you." She shrugged. "So you can be friends. And who knows, if things don't work out with Nivinee you can be there to swoop in." She giggled.
Lilura nodded "i dont think ive talked to her. i dont think we've even met." (that probably might change sooner or later)
She gratefully took her mug when Nasya handed it to her. she took a quick sip, and looked back at Naysa "so...do you really think i might never have a chance with Marius?" she felt her heart break a little once she said that, but she kept face.
Nasya smiled kindly at Lilura. "You're not around as long as I've been without being able to see these things. Well... I guess that's not true, since I think Marius is older than I am and he's still clueless. I guess I've always been good at seeing things." She shrugged. "You know when I first met Marius I had a crush on him too?" She asked, shaking her head and blushing lightly as she thought about it. "Eventually when he didn't notice I just assumed he wasn't interested. Of course, back then he wasn't interested in anyone. I don't think he was interested in anybody until Nivinee came along." She rolled her eyes lightly, leading Lilura into the living room and waiting for her to sit down before bringing out a huge bowl of popcorn and two mugs of hot chocolate. "You remember that little wolf girl from the last battle?" She asked as she sat next to Lilura.
"Marius rents an apartment with his girlfriend." Nasya said gently. "He probably went back there. He's... a gigantic lumberhead sometimes..." She sighed. "I'm sure he didn't even notice you have a crush on him, or he might have mentioned that fact." She smiled lightly at Lilura. "What kind of movie would you like to watch?"
"Well yes. All witches have familiars. Different... creatures that are connected to them. They're part of like... an extension of ourselves." She smiled. "Little Orrin here can change into any shape he desires, but he likes the life of a cat." She grinned. "He's been that way so long I think he's forgotten that he even can change."
"Hmm? Oh, I was just out shopping." Nasya replied, shrugging and smiling at Lilura. "I like to go shopping... even window-shopping when I have the chance. I have a lot of free time when nobody's in need of my help. If someone comes while I'm gone, Orrin lets me know." She smiled as said cat jumped up on the table to greet the newcomer. "He's my... familiar, I guess you could say." She smiled, motioning to the cat.
Lilura looked wide eyed at the witchy room for a quick second before she looked back at Nasya "um, okay. Yeah ive played an Xbox before, not my favorite system, but its fun too....so Nasya, what exactly were you doing out when you met up with me and Marius?" Lilura said, putting a loose end of her hair behind her ear.
Nasya nodded, grinning. "My sister often tells me that she plays something called an EX BOX. (haha bad pronunciation). She tells me that I should get one all of the time. Perhaps I will. Have you played on that system before?" She asked, opening her door to her hut, revealing the witchy room that was the entry of her house. "Oh, don't mind this room," She murmured. "My normal house is in back."
Nasya smiled, leading Lilura off through the streets toward the edge of the forest where her hut was. "I don't think I've tried video games," She said, raising eyebrows. "I do play some of the mini-games that came on my cell phone, but I never really thought about buying an actual gaming system. What's it like?" She asked.
"Well, i wouldnt call Marius 'grumpy' hes just......well....proper i guess? I usually just read and write in my room. I havent been out for a while, i just kinda keep to myself lately. I really love watching movies, reading comic books, and playing the occasional video game when i can" Lilura replied.
"I could show you my house if you'd like," Nasya smiled brightly. "I have lots of cool stuff. And we could watch a movie if you want. I like to collect DVD's." She pursed her lips as she thought about it. "What do you like to do? Other than hang out with grumpy vampires?" She grinned.
"You are a grump, and have always been a grump." Nasya replied, shaking her head. "Are..." She sighed lightly. She wondered vaguely if Marius had told Nivinee where he was going (as she loved the little werewolf) but she didn't want to butt into his personal life. "Where are you off to now?" She asked, smiling at Lilura.
"Oh?" Nasya asked, furrowing her brow. "I didn't know you were one to go to plays..." She furrowed her brow. "Or do anything enjoyable for that matter." She laughed lightly. "You never agreed to see a production with me." She teased Marius, her eyes sparkling. She turned her gaze to Lilura. "How did you convince him to stop being such a grump and go with you?"
